WOODEX 2007 is expected to continue its practice of being larger each year when the exhibition is held in Moscow’s Crocus Expo Center December 4-7, according Andrey Lapshin, President of MVK Holding.

Mr Lapshin said the expanded and up to date exhibition facility enables him to devote larger exhibit areas and special sections to all the major sectors of the woodworking industry including; lumber, woodworking and furniture industry.

The exhibit halls will be filled with the noise of thousands of qualified specialists and entrepreneurs from all over Russia. These visitors will be viewing operating equipment, machinery and tools and based on the make up of the industry. According to Mr. Lapshin, this make-up of the exhibition will enable visitors to match up their interests with the products displayed in the various halls.

The 2006 event attracted almost 350 exhibitors from 23 countries, occupying over 21,000 sq. meters and over 12,000 visitors. The 2007 event is expected to draw more exhibitors and visitors over the four days of the exhibition.

This year’s program will continue the very popular contest which identifies the companies offering the most advanced and promising development for the woodworking industry. A top-flight business program each day will have industry leaders from Russia and abroad presenting specialized sessions on key elements of the entire spectrum of the woodworking industry.

A larger exhibition, more exhibitors, more qualified visitors topped off by a world class business program will ensure that exhibitors and visitors will agree that WOODEX 2007 is an event not to be missed.
